Charlie Hannah has been a facilitator for Music4Wellbeing since 2018. He started by training under the guidance of Jodi Watson, M4W’s Co-Director and Lead Therapeutic Arts Practitioner, assisting her during Seaside Singers sessions in Margate. He is now leading his own singing group in Sandwich, and during the pandemic has been hosting these sessions online via Zoom.

A classically trained pianist, accomplished songwriter and guitarist, Charlie has put out many full-length albums with his band Itchy Teeth and as a solo artist. He loves classic 60s pop groups including the Beatles and Beach Boys, and enjoys sharing this passion with his singing groups. He has worked as a session musician, and has recorded at Abbey Road Studios! He has composed music for television.
Charlie has a 2:1 BA Honours degree from Southampton University in English Literature, and is currently undertaking further education in counselling and psychotherapy. Charlie co-owns and manages (with his wife) an organic refill health food shop in Margate called the Grain Grocer.
