Music4Wellbeing joins the Music for Dementia 2020 national campaign.

Trish Vella Burrows, one of M4W’s Directors, is part of the stakeholder advisory team for the campaign, which believes: ‘For people living with dementia, music isn’t a nicety, it’s a necessity’. M4W is helping the campaign provide music to everyone in the country living with dementia by the end of 2020.

Selected out of many community group applicants, Medway Skylarks have been chosen to perform at this showcase  event involving people living with disabilities at the Brook Theatre, on Sunday 17th March at 5pm-7pm.

Singers from Medway Skylarks are supporting National Social Prescribing Day by singing on Thurs 14th March at 1.30pm in the Pentagon Shopping Centre, Chatham, ME4 4HY. Social prescribing is a way for people living with health challenges to engage in  non-clinical activities, such as group singing, that are known to support health and wellbeing.
