Intergenerational projects: bringing communities together through the arts

Daffodil Line Dance: connecting older people from Deal Centre for the Retried with children from Whitfield Primary School, Dover.

Music 4 Wellbeing is committed to re-connecting communities through music, dance and arts projects involving older people and children and young people. These projects reflect national Government campaigns that encourage acts of kindness between citizens and promote dementia friendly communities.

SingDance United: primary-aged children sing and dance with Seaview Singers, a social song and dance group for carers of people with dementia and their cared, to discover children’s perceptions of dementia and to raise awareness of living with the conditions.
